Dr. med., the writer, speaker of the poems on the CDs as well as the painter of the covers and the other paintings in the book Atmospheres, lives near Zurich and in the Canton of Grisons, Switzerland. For many years she has been exploring the potential of a holistic understanding of arts – e.g. poetry, translated into music and visual art rendered into poetry and music serving as a pacemaker for inner resonance and inner pictures in an ongoing dialogue. This goes along with her work as psychiatrist and psychotherapist in private practice where the therapeutic atmosphere and a creative dimension as medium for individual expression or projection are important aspects of her therapeutic approach. Her range in private practice covers individual therapy, couple and family therapy, group therapy, therapeutic supervision, company coaching in the domain of human resources as well as teaching in advanced education. Former scientific publications during her time as a chief psychiatrist at the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich concerned the realm of psychiatry, psychotherapy and addiction research. At Pueblo Editions she functions as head of the small publishing house. In private life she is married and has an adult son.
